MODIS bands 1,4,3 RGB true color image of the Eastern United States on the 20th of February 2003.
Two days after record snowfalls blanketed the Middle Atlantic and Northeast U.S., life is slowly returning to normal. Final storm totals indicate parts of Western Maryland received up to 4 feet of snow, while New York City topped out at just over 25 inches.
